Latest Kantar Worldpanel’s report for three months ending August 2014 shows Windows Phone growing in major European markets. The Windows Phone sales share in EU5 markets has grown to 9.2% as compared to 8.7% last month. This may be due to strong performance of Lumia 630 and newly launched Lumia 530 in these markets.
In case of UK, Windows Phone has shown both YoY and MoM sales share growth and now is at 10.3%. In Italy too, it has shown strong growth both YoY and MoM and now stands at 14.4% sales share.
In US market, sales share for the month of August is up at 4.7% as compared to last month figures of 3.9%. This may again be attributed to Lumia 630 and Lumia 635’s strong performance.
In France, sales share is slightly up, while slightly down in Spain as compared to last month figures.
