HMD releases kernel source code for Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1. We also reported on the release on kernel source code of Nokia 3.1 back in June this year. So basically Nokia 2.1 and Nokia 5.1 now join the party along with Nokia 3.1, Nokia 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 3 and Nokia 1.
Those who are not aware, kernel source basically connect the hardware with the software, and as we know Android source code is always available for everyone, it enables developers to create some cool stuff like AOSP-based ROMS.
Also, the company has recently launched Nokia 6.1 plus and Nokia 5.1 plus here at an event in India, and we are also waiting eagerly for kernel source code to get out into the public. You can download the kernel source code from here.
