While we know already that HMD plans to bring Android 9 Pie to all existing Nokia Android smartphones including Nokia 1, at times re-confirmations bring peace of mind to many. So, here is one more.
Hi, Android Pie will be available for the Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8. Roll-out will be phased as usual to secure quality delivery. Nokia 7 Plus is part of the Android One program, which guarantees two years of software updates, including Pie.

Nokia Mobile Twitter account just confirmed that Nokia 3, 5, 6 and 8 will receive Android Pie. Though Nokia 1 and Nokia 2 are not mentioned here, they will receive the Pie update too keeping in mind the minimum two years OS update promise.

The Android 9 Pie Beta 4 update brings the majority of Android 9 Pie changes and features to Nokia 7 Plus. The major changes and features include all-new gesture-based navigation option, lots of UI changes, Notification improvements, Settings revamp, usability improvements and much more.
