Google has always been known for updating their apps and services with new features and improvements.
Now it’s time for Google Photos to get some new features on board. The company has now announced a new ‘Private Messaging’ feature in the Google Photos app on Android which could soon come to other platforms as well. With this ‘Private Messaging’ feature, the company now wants us to share photos in an even easier way.
Although the feature is now available in the current build of the Google Photos app on Android, we expect it to be available pretty soon. Till now if we want to share a single photo with some of our friends, it creates an album and then shares it with them. But with the private messaging feature, we can share a single photo in a conversational form. And it is applicable vice versa which means if someone shares a photo with you, it will be shown in that conversation and from there you can download and even save it to your device.
You can like photos or comment in the conversation, and you can easily save these photos or videos to your own gallery. This feature isn’t designed to replace the chat apps you already use, but we do hope it improves sharing memories with your friends and family in Google Photos
The feature will be rolling out over the next week’s time and will be available on Android, iOS as well as a web without any loss in quality.
