Updated: Fresh batch of rumors appear regarding AT&T release date of Lumia 900:) Verge too got tipped from its sources!!

This time it is from some unknown asstt manager with an AT&T store in California. According to him the tentative date for release of the much awaited device Lumia 900 is 8th of April. Well if this happens,¬†this is gonna be a good memory for me, 8th April being my B’day ūüôā

But can’t really help, but take this news with a pinch¬†of salt, as we already have heard many dates 18th March, 22nd April and now this !!

Though other things  claimed by this fellow seems ok,like, getting a demo last week, getting mandatory training etc. Also the color bit. It seems understandable that white will come as an attention grabbing addition to Black and Cyan just like N9 in white appeared after other colors.

Update:

Well, now TheVerge has joined the party and has claimed that they have been informed by their sources that Microsoft Stores are expecting shipments of Lumia 900 handsets ready for the second week of April. Microsoft will also supply exclusive app card worth $25 value. Promotions will be launched  which might include Xbox consoles. Read more from them below,

AT&T has typically launched Windows Phone devices on a Sunday before a week of promotional activities. We are hearing that Microsoft will supply an exclusive app card for the Lumia 900, similar to the $25 value cards¬†given away with other Windows Phone devices. The company is also expected to launch promotions involving Xbox consoles with its Microsoft Store Lumia¬†900 sales. Both Microsoft and Nokia are expected to invest heavily in national TV, print, and digital marketing, making Nokia’s “rolling thunder” reentry into the US market a big one. With a rumored $99 price point and the latest Windows Phone hardware specs, Nokia’s Lumia 900 may just tempt shoppers looking for an Easter bargain.
