We last reported about Nokia planning to launch an Android TV box in India with its brand-licensee Flipkart. Now, Flipkart has started teasing the device on its social media channels.

The teaser says “Something exciting is coming to make your TV smarter and better without upgrading your TV. What could it be? Watch this space for updates.”. It mentions features like Chromecast built-in, Google Assistant, Dolby Audio, Android 9 and gaming apps.
We already reported in our pervious article that Nokia Android TV box will be powered by Android 9.0. The TV box will offer an output of 1080p resolution. It will feature Chromecast support for casting screens to the TV.
It will also pack Google assistant support for the voice-controlled remote feature. As per the industry sources, it will be launched by Flipkart in August.
Nokia has already launched two smart TVs in India and these two are already available to buy at Flipkart. Nokia smart TVs have garnered great user reviews and ratings.
