We have been reporting some exclusive details about Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 9.3 PureView 5G via our sources close to HMD. Now, it seems that HMD is also working on a mid-range smartphone Nokia 6.3 that is intended to replace the Nokia 6.2 and will sit above Nokia 5.3 in the new product lineup.
We hear that HMD still considers the Nokia 6.X series positioning very important considering the pricing bracket it belongs to. Nokia 6.3 may be powered by Snapdragon 670/675 processor and may feature a Zeiss-branded rear quad-camera setup. The Zeiss-branded camera and the processor will be presented as upgraded features over the Nokia 5.3.
Nokia 6.3 may also feature a better front-facing camera as compared to the Nokia 5.3 perhaps with a 16MP sensor. Coming to the display design Nokia 6.3 may sport a tear-drop notch like Nokia 5.3 but will be a PureDisplay like its predecessor Nokia 6.2.
While a confirmed launch date is not known for Nokia 6.3, sources hint at a big Nokia launch event sometime in Q3 2020 where it can be launched along with Nokia 7.3 and Nokia 9.3 PureView 5G.
We had earlier reported about this launch event but much depends upon the prevailing conditions because COVID19 impact has impact plans of all companies worldwide. The Nokia 6.3 may be available globally starting in Q3 2020 and for a global average retail price of 249 Euros for the base 3GB/64GB RAM/ROM variant.
