In this step by step tutorial, we will cover and demo how to enable Ambient Display feature on Nokia and other Android smartphones. Your smartphone should be on Android Oreo for this feature to work. When a notification arrives it will wake up your lock-screen for few seconds.
Though the Ambient display feature is not available on Nokia 8, as it comes with Glance Screen feature. So, in case you want to enable Ambient Display feature, here are the steps that you need to follow. We have you covered with a hands-on demo video too.
Steps:
- Go to Settings–>Display–>Advanced
- Now enable Ambient Display feature “wake screen when you receive notifications”
