Cortana’s predecessor Louise in action on Windows Phone, Tablet & Skype

LouiseWe had heard that Cortana could have been named Alyx before WP user community weighed in. But it seems now, Cortana was called Louise during its development period. Microsoft has already confirmed that Cortana will come to Windows devices soon.

Project Louise is an ongoing, multiyear prototyping effort to build an automated personal assistant. This demo highlights the Louise Personal Assistant serving as a conversational natural user interface (NUI): multi-modal speech+touch. This prototype was created by Madhu Chinthakunta, Savas Parastatidis, Lisa Stifelman, Jacob Miller, and Octavia Petrovici in the Conversational Systems Lab led by Larry Heck.

  • Shweeeeeeeeet but i think Cortana on the 1st video is the one to go for though this was developed by one individual so i salute this guy
