Today Thomas Nigro, the developer of the VLC app for Windows platform made known (via twitter) that the new closed beta for the new Universal Windows platform app is now available for beta testers. And forthcoming version of the app will support wide range of Windows 10 devices including Windows 10 Mobile, PC, Xbox One and HoloLens too.

No release dates have been announced yet for the concluding version of the app. VLC media player is so popular worldwide since it supports broad range formats. There is one more app in Windows store, called VLC for Windows, nevertheless upcoming universal app will replace it.

In Short, the drive with the development of the VLC UWP app is started and it will be excited to see what is going to offer in the future.
