Android 10: How to change the accent colors

Android 10 update will officially be here soon for Nokia 8.1 and here we are with our first Android 10 How To article. Android 10 supports many accent colors. Changing accent colors changes the color adopted by quick-action buttons and brightness bar (Check the screenshot above).

This is a nice customization option though hidden in developer options on Android 10 for the reasons best known to Google. Anyways, here we tell you how you can change the accent colors on your Android smartphone running Android 10.

Time needed: 2 minutes.

How to change Accent colors in Android 10

  1. Enable Developer options

Go to Settings->About Phone->Build Number and tap on it 7 times. You will get the message “you are now a developer” and developer options will get enabled.

  2. Go to Developer options

Go to Settings->System->Developer options–>Scroll down to accent colors. Now, choose the accent color that you want to enable and you are done.
