Last we reported about the Build 10586.71 appearing on BuildFeed and also via a leaked screenshot. Now, it seems quite possible that the build is heading to Windows Insiders soon as the next cumulative update. The build has now appeared in the Microsoft’s Update Catalogue as a Production Bundle. Usually, Builds get this status when they have passed through Microsoft’s internal rings.
The Build appears as 10.0.13073.71 in the catalogue and has a reported date of 22nd January. Build 10586.71 has been seen on BuildFeed with a compilation date of 15th of January. So, we can be very hopeful that Microsoft may push it on Monday or Tuesday in coming week.
The current Windows 10 Mobile Insider preview build is Build 10586.63 and while the build is generally good and stable, there are some bugs and issues that we collated from many users. Build 10586.71 may bring more polish and fix for these bugs and issues. With Microsoft reportedly targeting early to mid-February now for Windows 10 Mobile roll-out now, Build 10586.71 is the likely candidate for the General release build.
