VLC Beta app for Windows Phone has just received a new update. You need to install and re-install the app that mayn’t work properly otherwise after this update. The update brings lots of fixes and issue including memory leaks.
It should fix a lot of bugs, issues, memory leaks, etc. Hint: if problems; uninstall/reinstall.

I strongly recommend you fully reinstall the the VLC beta after the last update, since we changed the layout of our media database

The next update may probably bring the background audio.
Tomorrow I’ll try to make the background audio finally working on VLC for WP. This is one of the final steps before public release 🙂
