Nokia TA-1136, that may well be the Nokia 2.1 Plus, a bigger version of Nokia 2.1 has passed Wi-Fi certification recently. The certification also list its Android version as Oreo 8.1 but it may finally arrive with Android Pie like the other Nokia smartphones launched recently.

The FCC certification for Nokia TA-1136 had revealedĀ 1GB RAM + 16GB internal storage and electrical similarity with a Nokia 2.1 variant. It was also caught at BSIG with Bluetooth 5.0 certification which is bit of a surprise.

The smartphone may see a sooner launch given the number of certifications it has appeared in. But we have also heard about Nokia 9 PureView’sĀ  planned launch in January. So, HMD will probably launch these devices in one big event.
