Nokia D1C is a 13.8” Android 7.0 Tablet, reveals GFXBench listing

Here comes the twist in Nokia D1C story!! Earlier Leaks originating from two benchmarks Geekbench and AnTuTu didn’t reveal the display size of the Nokia D1C. So, because of its specs it looked like a mid-ranger Nokia Android smartphone.

But its latest outing on GFXBench reveals that we are looking at the next Nokia Android Tablet with 13.8-inch, 1080p display. It is not surprising as Nokia has confirmed working on both Android smartphones and Tablets with HMD as the sole global partner.

The GFXBench listing confirms and corrects specs leaked by earlier two leaks. Like the rear camera seems to be 15 / 16 MP and internal storage may be 16 GB / 32 GB.

Nokia D1C leaked specs:

  • 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 430 Processor
  • Adreno 505 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • Android Nougat 7.0
  • 13.8-inch, 1080p display
  • 16 GB / 32 GB internal storage
  • 15 /16 MP Rear camera
  • 8 MP FFC
  • Supports SIM card

The Nokia D1C Tablet will also support SIM Card as revealed in the GFXBench listing and will pack lots of sensors including Pedometer.

Something this underpowered with such a large screen (for an Android tablet that is) could mean this might be something with a kickstand intended for a kitchen or kiosk like setting where not much power is needed.

Android Tablet in 2016,Nokia again started doing mistakes..

    • There is some tablet market still remaining and won’t be wrong if they manage to tap some part of it.

That tablet market is not 13.8′ Laptop sized tablet with an below-par snapdragon 430

        • Certainly. I have my own doubts that they would be so dumb to throw in a tablet with those specs and screen size.
7″ + on a tablet requires a bundled keyboard case which more or less makes it a work device which would require more power.

Could be a reworked version of the N1 (which never launched outside the two China’s) or the N2. Although to be fair, it’s really stupid to launch tablets (specially Android ones) in a moment where the tablet market is pretty much dead… Oh well ¯_(ツ)_/¯

It has a unique 13.8 inch screen size. It’s huge.
