Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586 to be the RTM Build.

Build 10581.1

Some interesting tidbits about Windows 10 Mobile RTM (Public Release too) dates and the probable Public Release build number. As per our sources, Microsoft is going to sign-off Windows 10 Mobile RTM build very soon. It may be signed off as early as next week and the RTM build number may be Build 10586.

Microsoft may release this build very soon to Windows Insiders before releasing it to general public. As to when this RTM build may hit Windows Phone 8.1 devices, we hear mid to end of November timelines, but it may still depend on carrier testing and approval in some markets.

Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586 isn’t supposed to bring many new features as compared to the current preview build, Build 10581, but it will be more stable and polished.

Microsoft may release both Windows 10 PC and Mobile versions of Build 10586 for testing to Insiders simultaneously.

I hope Microsoft add jump lists on this upcoming build.

      not happening in TH2, afaik.

I *REALLY* hope this isn’t true. 10581 is AWFUL. WAY too many bugs and missing features. If 10586 is anywhere close to RTM, I won’t have to worry about buying a new 950xl because 8.1 is so much better it’s not even funny.

10581 is stable. The new one should be at least ok.

10581 hasn’t got any real problems, Only bug i’ve come across is that some Lumia specific apps don’t update from the store

      MS knows about the problem

I reverted to 8.1 on my 640 due to the SD Card issue.

There are many issues with 10581 on Lumia 930. My PC isn’t detecting my phone. Speech is not working. Cortana crashes. Did Hard as well as soft resets twice.

      I hear 10586 is a tamed yet sharper animal ;). We’ll see.
