Microsoft has talked about the upcoming Windows 10 Mobile Summer update in its Ignite session titled “Discover what’s next for Windows 10 Mobile for phones and small tablet”. The Windows 10 Mobile Summer update aka Redstone 2 is currently under Insider testing phase and Insiders have just received the Build 14936.
Now, Microsoft has posted a video for the aforementioned Ignite session that reveals what Continuum improvements can be expected in Summer update. You can in fact some of these features in action as well in the video.
Continuum features in Windows 10 Mobile Summer update:
- Work on Phone and the connected screen (via continuum) independently without worrying about one screen timing out and getting locked
- Keep your phone in pocket and connect wirelessly with the dock
- Customize your Start screen while using Continuum independently from Phone
- More Windows 10 PC features enabled while using Continuum mode. Taskbar pinning, Windowing, Multitasking, Enable “Win key+type”
