Microsoft may be planning to bring an interesting feature to Windows 10 / Windows 10 Mobile soon. Exploring code on latest Windows 10 Redstone 2 Builds have revealed placeholder icons and quick-action button for “Blue Light” control feature.
This feature may work similar to the F.lux software. It makes the color of your computer’s display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.
It is not certain but underlying code remaining the same, the feature may be available to Windows 10 Mobile as well. As per the tweets posted by “Core”, who explored this hidden feature, users may be able to set a target color temperature (in Kelvin) for blue light reduction” and it may be “automatically set based on sunrise and sunset”.
