Some more tidbits about Windows 10 for Phones via Gabriel Aul from Microsoft!!
Good news, Lumia Denim is not required for being able to upgrade to Windows 10 for Phones preview build.

Lumia 635 (Lumia 630 too) seems will make it to the first batch of devices receiving Windows 10 for Phones. Gabriel Aul has thrown a big hint saying, he is testing Windows 10 for Phones on his daily driver that is a Lumia 635 and touts it to be running very smooth.
@Aakash006sharma @lumia I rotate through devices, but right now daily driver is a 512MB Lumia 635. W10 is very smooth on it overall. — Gabriel Aul (@GabeAul) February 10, 2015
More on roll-back to stable versions in case Windows 10 for Phones is too hot to handle. All devices can be rolled back and most probably Lumia software recovery tool will take care of issues, but Gabriel Aul has hinted about just a “recovery tool” for all supported Windows Phone devices. So, will we see a new recovery tool for all Windows Phones??
@unklmik All supported phones for the preview will have a rollback path.

@RoyHansen1 Yes, we’ll have a recovery tool to roll back for all phones that are supported for the preview.
