A new Nokia-branded feature phone bearing code-name RM-1187 has been certified in China. The certification clearly mentions “Microsoft (China) Co Ltd” as the applicant. But it may be the very first feature phone to be launched in market by HMD. Microsoft already sold off Nokia Feature-phone business to HMD and Foxconn.

HMD officials had also confirmed that Nokia feature phones will arrive soon and that Foxconn has started manufacturing them in India.
