HMD’s new and improved Flip phone might be their best looking one yet. The HMD 2660 Flip looks very similar to its predecessors but it borrows certain elements from all the different variants of the 2660 Flip to give it a fresh look and feel.
The HMD 2660 Flip comes in three distinctive yet bold color and the full mirror like finishing on the front that hides a secondary display makes the devices looks modern and sleek.
Just Another Clamshell Feature Phone?
Why change the design if its already winning? HMD is capitalizing on the success of its flip phone series to push the revamped HMD 2660 Flip for broader audience. The ultimate detox device with a flip certainly looks fresh despite sharing a very familiar outlook. The review unit in violet looks absolutely beautiful in person and its amazing that the subtle changes in the design brings a fresh look to this series.
The back panel has a feel that is matte for better grip like the original 2660 Flip and the front now houses a full mirror like finish that takes inspiration from Barbie Phone.
The device retains all the same buttons as its older siblings and includes a Type C charging port. It also retains pins for charging via an optional charging cradle sold separately.
The S30+ device is powered by Unisoc T107, supports dual nano sim with 4G LTE support and micro SD card expansion. The audio is loud and the display has adequate color reproduction and viewing angles.
The 2660 Flip phone became a hit not only for its Flip design but also the rich features it comes with. The backlit keypad is large and well spaced for typing, the secondary display shows you the notification and time, and the radio works with or without a headphone connected to it. Switching between SIM for data and connectivity is easy and you can even set parental lock to block certain features to protect the young minds out there.

The HMD 2660 Flip is a familiar device with subtle changes that adds to its aesthetic appeal and makes it relevant in the modern world. The ease of answering or disconnecting a call with a flip, large spacious keypad and loud volume with options to charge via cradle makes it an excellent feature phone for anyone including the elderly consumers.
