Some more info about upcoming Lumia 720 successor

Nokia-Lumia-720-unibody-designWhat can potentially be the Lumia 720 successor, has been seen in Adduplex database. Now, we have some more info about it and if we club all the bits and pieces together, we can get a small specs and feature list for this device, which can come as Lumia 730 ( that can change though ).

Probable specs and Features:

5-inch, 720p resolution display

Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor

Adreno 305 GPU

8 MP Carl-Zeiss rear camera with low-light improvements

May have a “big selfie cam” in front

May get launched in August

May sport a slightly altered design from Lumia 720

It has been really long that Nokia has come up with any proper mid-range device targeted at all. Lumia 1320 was too big for many and this has resulted in a long gap between Lumia 720 and a proper mid-range successor to it. It will be better, if Microsoft can launch it as soon as possible, though the pace at which things are moving in terms of launch of new devices is far from satisfactory post Nokia-Microsoft deal!!

  • only reason i didnt buy a 730 was the 512 ram, bought 520 instead. this 730 might be interesting though…

A successor to Lumia 720 is long due. A mid ranger camera phone is needed. They either have a 5 MP or a 20 MP, nothing in between. If they can get the N8 camera in a 5 inch 720p screen phone, then nothing like it.
