Samsung’s next flagship tablet family is laid bare. Following video teasers and comprehensive specification sheets leaked by tipster Evan Blass, new press renders and regulatory filings reported by NokiaPowerUser provide a full 360-degree view of both the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the top-tier Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
From the razor-thin 5.1mm industrial design to a notable shift toward MediaTek silicon and triple AI assistant integration, here is everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming slate powerhouses.
Complete 360° Design: Same Ultra-Thin Profile, Upgraded Details
The leaked 360-degree video and high-resolution renders confirm that Samsung is maintaining its signature ultra-thin aluminum chassis.
Front Panel: The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra keeps its expansive 14.6-inch panel with slim uniform bezels and a subtle camera notch along the long edge. The Tab S12+ offers a slightly more portable 12.6-inch footprint.
Rear Layout: On the back, individual camera rings sit alongside a magnetic strip designed to store and charge the bundled S Pen.
Sides & Edges: Quad spatial speaker grilles tuned with Dolby Atmos surround the perimeter, flanking a USB-C port, physical side control key, and pogo pins for official keyboard dock accessories.
Durability Ratings: Recent EU energy label leaks indicate both tablets carry an IP68 dust- and water-resistance rating, with heavy-duty endurance batteries rated for up to 1,200 charge cycles.

Hardware Specifications Comparison
Samsung has adjusted its lineup strategy this generation, focusing entirely on the larger Plus and Ultra screen sizes while dropping the base 11-inch model.
Both slates feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and frame-by-frame Vision Booster contrast adjustments for outdoor usability.

Triple AI Integration: Gemini, Bixby, and Perplexity
Software intelligence is a major pillar for the Galaxy Tab S12 line. Rather than locking users into a single default assistant, Samsung is baking in three distinct AI agents:
Gemini Intelligence: Designed for multi-step reasoning and logistics, allowing users to plan complex holiday trips, draft agendas, or manage dates from a single unified prompt.
Creative Studio (with S Pen): Powered by Gemini’s Nano Banana image model on the Ultra, this creative suite transforms rough S Pen sketches into finished artwork in several artistic styles.
Perplexity & Bixby: Built-in options for real-time conversational search engine queries and deep system-level device settings control.
All three assistants can be invoked hands-free via custom wake phrases or triggered immediately with a long press of the side key.
Desktop Productivity: DeX, Full Photoshop, and 3-Way Window
To position the Tab S12 series as a viable alternative to ultraportable laptops, Samsung has expanded its desktop workflow toolset:
Samsung DeX: Transforms the Android interface into a multi-window desktop workstation with drag-and-drop file transfers between active apps.
Adobe Photoshop with S Pen: Fully optimized for the in-box stylus, bringing professional touch-and-pen retouching tools directly to the platform.
3-Way Window: Enables side-by-side execution of up to three apps simultaneously for fluid multitasking.
Notability: Deeply integrated for live note-taking, lecture recording, and PDF annotation.
Smart Switch: Simplifies initial setup by wirelessly migrating files, media, settings, and app data from iOS or Android devices.
Price and Launch Timeline
