OriginOS 7 Adds Brand-New KPL Charging & USB Animations for vivo and iQOO Devices

OriginOS 7 Introduces Brand-New KPL Charging & USB Animations

If you use a vivo or iQOO smartphone running the latest OriginOS 7, your charging screen just got a major visual upgrade.

As part of vivo’s ongoing customization updates, the company has officially rolled out a King Pro League (KPL) themed charging animation alongside updated USB connection visual effects. Whether you are topping up your battery or connecting your device to a PC for file transfers, your lock screen now lights up with high-energy esports-inspired visual effects.

What’s New in the KPL Visual Makeover?

The King Pro League (KPL) is the premier competitive arena for Honor of Kings, and iQOO has long served as its official esports smartphone partner. This new software integration brings that high-octane gaming aesthetic directly into the core user interface.

1. KPL Esports Charging Visual

• Dynamic Fluid Effects: Replacing the standard geometric charging bubble, the KPL animation features a glowing neon energy ring with flowing particle streams radiating toward the battery percentage indicator.

• Super-Fast Charge Styling: When plugged into high-wattage FlashCharge adapters, the color palette shifts dynamically to reflect rapid charging speeds with energetic pulsing effects.

2. Enhanced USB Connection Feedback

• Instant Cable Recognition: Plugging in a USB cable now triggers a subtle electric surge animation along the bottom edge of the display, giving immediate visual confirmation before device mode options (File Transfer, MIDI, Tethering) pop up.

How to Enable the New KPL Charging Animation

If your phone has received the server-side update or latest OriginOS 7 build, setting up the new animation takes only a few taps:

1. Open Settings on your vivo or iQOO phone.

2. Tap on Dynamic Effects.

3. Select Charging Animation.

4. Browse through the available themes and select the KPL Special Edition visual effect.

5. Tap Apply.

Note: You can also customize the USB Insertion Animation under the same Dynamic Effects menu to match your charging setup.
