Nokia’s first Android phone called “Nokia Normandy” or the “nPhone” as per our sources is now leaked in many color models by none other than evleaks. What we can add from our knowledge is that it will have 4-inch display and will come in dual-sim flavour as well with a variant code RM-980.
We also have been tipped by our sources that the team working on this “Project N” will stay back and merge with Nokia’s emerging devices team which again is working on many interesting devices like Nokia Smart Watch. From our earlier article,
Seems, Nokia have tried Android as low-cost replacement of Asha platform, which will also allow it to have dual-sim support, better display resolution and ability to run many new apps. As per our sources Nokia will not use any of Google’s services ala Amazon.
So, there it is. NPhone aka Nokia Normandy with 4-inch display, dual-sim support, running Android ( Project N version) and RM-980 product code under testing in India.
Our sources also hinted that Nokia has put the product on release path so it may get launched even in face of Nokia-MS deal. This leak reinforces the possibility of the Nokia nPhone running forked Android seeing the light of day.
