Introduction

Following my initial review of the Nokia XR21 5G, I have been waiting for the Android 13 Update to have a proper impression of the device.

And today, the roll out begins in Europe.

The update weighs 2.49GB and brings Android 13 update along with the July security patch.

I have been using this device as my daily driver for the past 2 weeks, replacing the Nothing Phone 1, and the overall experience is really good. The performance is refined, battery life is good with nearly one and a half day of moderate usage, charging speed is fast and the built is top notch.

But there were some issues that I am hoping that the Android 13 would fix. Primarily, the cracking audio output at maximum volume which might deter anyone from enjoying the stereo speaker setup. The camera performance could also benefit from a newer and better algorithm as the current image though adequate, lacks vibrancy, noisy and not as sharp as you would want it to be.
