The Nokia X20 has a strong user base , so every now and then many have brought up in X their dissatisfaction as the promised final update for the X20 seem to have been forgotten.
While HMD did not acknowledge or update us on its plans for legacy devices, it is certainly a happy moment to know that the much awaited final update has started to roll out for the X20 as well as XR20.
I have done an extensive review on the X20 and I personally prefer the camera performance over the rugged XR20. But the XR20 has a durable built quality and the handy programmable button which makes executing certain task as easy as a single click.
Both this devices are still very much capable and with the Android 14 upgrade with August security update, the device is still relevant as they offer good performance, battery life and definitely a good imaging experience.

The Android 14 update for X20 is particularly important as the 3 years of Android update is no longer the standard for recent HMD devices and many users were worried , if the update will be abandoned. This build confidence that HMD Devices is truly committed in delivering what matters to end users. A big kudos to HMD for the update, and as they say, better late than never!
