As promised back in February, Nokia has started rolling out new software update for Asha devices, which brings Nokia MixRadio to 29 more markets worldwide. Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502, Asha 503 and Asha 230 are the beneficiaries of this update. The other changes are not less significant however and enhanced Fastlane, camera improvements, OneDrive integration with 7 GB free storage and parental control make for a impressive changelog. Asha 230 is not getting Nokia MixRadio with this update, though all other changes are coming to Asha 230.
Changelog:
Nokia MixRadio to 29 more markets worldwide for Asha 500, 501, 502, 503
Voice-guided self-portrait feature
Panorama feature has been added to the mix. Improved video stabilization.
Microsoft OneDrive integration. 7GB of free storage
Re-tweets, Facebook likes and friends’ birthdays now appear in Fastlane
Using a special password or PIN code you can control the browser and Store access, putting a stop to unwanted downloads or unexpectedly high data charges.
How to update and schedule:
Nokia Asha software update is starting to make its way to devices around the world as an over-the-air (OTA) update. Phones being updated are the Asha 500, Asha 501, Asha 502, Asha 503 and Asha 230, both single and Dual SIM variants.
