Multi colored and greatly feature packed that’s how, you can describe this new range of accessories launched by Monster and JBL. The colors of these accessories provide ample hint about upcoming color options in which we can see new Lumia phones :). Yellow is one of the color common in both the accessories. Initial leaked devices were mostly yellow and if you have followed our Lumia 920 and 820 leak article then you can see the devices/Renders in many colors. We have seen Nokia also dropping hint that WP8 Lumias will be coming in many colors.
Above shown is “The Nokia Purity Pro Wireless Stereo Headset by Monster” unveiled this week at IFA in Berlin.
- As the name suggests, these new headsets offer a wire-free connection to your phone. Music transfer is by Bluetooth and the headsets feature one-touch pairing with your smartphone using NFC. Standard Bluetooth pairing is also available.
- The crisp, clear sound quality delivered by the Purity Pro is enhanced by Monster’s active noise cancellation technology. This includes feed forward and feedback technology for ambient and percussive noise cancellation.
- The noise cancellation and Bluetooth activates automatically when the headset is unfolded, and switches off again when you fold them up after use.
Coming to other one, released recently by JBL for Nokia is the JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speaker for Nokia.
- The PlayUp portable speaker delivers crystal clear sound – in every direction – thanks to JBL technology, to finely reproduce every detail of your recordings with a maximum output of 89dB .
- Unlike other portable speakers, there isn’t an issue with “tinny-ness” at the low end. It has a specially designed bass port, which acts as a woofer.
- Frequency response is rated at 85Hz – 22kHz (-6dB) which is truly mnd-blowing.
- Next-generation Lumia smartphones using Windows Phone 8 will be able to tap-to-connect using NFC – an extra convenience that will speed up your time-to-music considerably.
- Older phones or MP3 players without either Bluetooth or NFC aren’t left out, though – they can also connect using a standard 3.5mm jack. There’s a cable supplied in the box for this, together with a carrying pouch and a MicroUSB charger.
- The dimensions of the speaker are 118 x 118 x 128mm, and it weighs 760g. The rechargeable battery inside will last for 10 hours in normal use, and, of course, you can run it off AC power using the charger indoors. It will come in cyan, white and black – plus a new bright yellow colour.
- The PlayUp portable speaker is specially made to complement our current and future Lumia smartphones. Music is transferred using Bluetooth. An accessory app will be available so you can remote-control the speakers right from your phone.
