Some more tidbits that we hear about Nokia 9.3 PureView from our sources, as the prototypes are already under testing. One of our sources has claimed that the Nokia 9.3 PureView prototype’s camera is capable of shooting 8K videos at 30fps.
But the source also cautions that 8K video capture is still considered to be an experimental feature that will go to the final device when testing results are all good. He says that while 8K output is really impressive HMD is still working to finalize the camera and editing algorithms, which are a work in progress.
HMD imaging team is also working hard to improve the two most favorite Camera modes “Pro” and “Night”. While Pro mode may see enhanced controls and refined algorithms, Night Mode may see the big advantage of the inclusion of OIS and bigger Pixel size.
Zeiss team is also helping HMD in fine-tuning some “exclusive” Zeiss effects that Nokia 9.3 PureView camera will come with.
Recently HMD CPO dropped a big hint about Nokia 9.3 PureView’s existence and color options. A recent tip we received claimed that Nokia 9.3 PureView may pack a 108MP sensor along with a 64MP main sensor in its Penta camera setup. We also shared tips from our sources regarding the camera technology and selfie camera/display design of the Nokia 9.3 PureView.
