New Nokia phones are also being readied for a future launch along with new Nokia X-series and G-series smartphones. Distributor listings reveal that Nokia 8210 4G and Nokia 5710 XA may be the two classics that can be re-launched as 2022 versions.
Nokia 8210 4G:
Nokia 8210 of the yore was launched as the smallest and the lightest Nokia phone in the market. Now the 2022 version, Nokia 8210 4G is listed in three color models: Blue, Red and Sand is listed at an Australian retailer. It may be priced at AUD 127.6.
Nokia 5710 XA:
Nokia 5710 XA will have variant code TA-1498. The original Nokia 5710 was supposed to be a XpressMusic phone but remained unannounced. It may be priced at AUD 153.6.
Nokia Mobile is planning to launch many Nokia X and G series 5G smartphones in the second half of the year. Many of these smartphones may be powered by Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G processor. In fact, HMD Global has already hinted at it being considered for its future smartphones in Qualcomm’s press release.
So, it is quite possible that HMD Global will launch a whole new range of Nokia smartphones powered by Snapdragon 480 Plus given its insistence on using its predecessor in many. But, this may be disappointing for Nokia fans who expected a more powerful processor to power future Nokia smartphones. The attractive pricing may however find many takers for these affordable 5G smartphones.
