Nokia 8 owners in India who didn’t take the Beta route to Android Pie on their devices are not a happy lot as they are still waiting for official Pie update to land on their smartphones. HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas took to Twitter to assuage the feelings and talk about the Nokia 8 Pie update status.

As one can read in the tweet, VoLTE issue forced HMD to come up with a new software update. Even there are missing features on Nokia 8 owing to it not being an Android One smartphone. But HMD exclusively confirmed to us that they are still working with Google to get these features on Nokia 8.
So, now it seems that HMD will pack VoLTE fix, and missing Pie features in the official Pie update for Nokia 8 in India. It is in works and HMD is requesting users for some more patience.
