While HMD Global has so far been tight-lipped about the release of Nokia 8.3 5G, we have been reporting about possible release dates via retailer and distributor listings. Recently we reported a claimed release date of October 8 in the UK via retailer Clove. That listing has been removed completely now confirming it may have been the real deal.
Now, coming to European markets, we now see distributors and retailers providing same release dates for both Nokia 8.3 5G variants in Denmark, Germany, Finland, Norway, Sweden and more. All listings now claim that the 6GB RAM variant will be available starting September 19, while the 8GB RAM variant will be released on October 03.
The uniformity in communication to all these distributors/retailers across many markets raises hopes for these dates to be valid. Nokia 8.3 5G recently passed FCC certification and recent leaks confirm that Nokia 8.3 5G is headed to Russia, US, European markets and China too, it seems.
HMD CPO Juho Sarvikas recently teased fans with a Nokia 8.3 5G video captured with another Nokia 8.3 5G. This video also revealed the variant numbers TA-1243 and TA-1251.
Nokia 8.3 comes with a display size of 6.8-inch with Full HD+ resolution and PureDisplay branding. Nokia 8.3 packs a 24 MP selfie camera and a 64MP rear PureView Quad-camera on the back.
It will be available in 6GB/8GB RAM variants and is powered by Snapdragon 765G processor. Read all about Nokia 8.3 in detail at its dedicated page here.
