HMD recently started the roll-out of official Android 9 Pie update to Nokia 5. Time now for our hands-on video of Nokia 5 Plus running the official or stable Android 9 Pie. In this video, we have demoed the major changes and features that Android 9 Pie brings to Nokia 5 and we have also shared our impressions of the update.
All the changes and new features:
Pie update for Nokia 5 brings most of the features including Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness and lots of UI and usability improvements. Since Nokia 5 is not an Android One smartphone, some features like Digital Wellbeing and Apps actions are missing.
Apart from all Android Pie features/changes Nokia 5 also gets new Ambient display options. Also, Google search widget is not fixed to bottom as we have seen on Android One smartphones with on-screen touch buttons.
