HMD has started pushing the April security update (2019) to Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 3.1 Plus (Pie). We already reported about April Security update availability for Nokia 3.1 Plus on Oreo 8.1. Nokia 5.1 update size:
The update for Nokia 5.1 is 111 MB in size. You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.
Nokia 3.1 Plus update size:
The update for Nokia 3.1 Plus is 86.7 MB in size. You will either be prompted to download this update or you can check by going to Settings and searching system updates and then by checking for the update.
Nokia 5.1 & 3.1 Plus April Security update changelog:
The changelog mentions only the April Android Security update. It brings fix for many security issues. The most severe of these issues is a critical security vulnerability in Media framework that could enable a remote attacker using a specially crafted file to execute arbitrary code within the context of a privileged process.

HMD has been quite consistent in terms of releasing Monthly Security updates and OS updates for Nokia smartphones already available in the market. HMD has also made it clear that all Nokia Android Phones will receive minimum two years of OS update support.
