We reported how HMD doesn’t figure in the list of vendors/manufacturers committed to bring Snapdragon 888 powered smartphones. This raised a lot of questions and counter claims as expected.
We had earlier reported about HMD testing a Nokia 10 PureView prototype with Sapphire glass display and Snapdragon 875 processor. Now, since Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 875 as Snapdragon 888, so the prototype is powered by Snapdragon 888.
The only problem remains in HMD being non-committal about bringing an absolute Nokia flagship. Even if they may be testing Nokia 10 PureView prototype, there is no guarantee that it will see light of the day like what happened in the case of immediate Nokia 9 PureView successor.
We may keep on reporting about how Nokia 10 PureView is in development and all but if it is not even launched to the market in time it sounds meaningless. We even hear about HMD planning to promote the value flagships like Nokia 8.3 5G as the Nokia flagship smartphone.
This may eventually mean that in spite of all testing and development the real flagships may not see the face of market, which is quite unfortunate. We will soon let you know more about what has happened to Nokia 9.3 PureView.
Nokia 10 PureView may be targeted at H2 2021 going by the current stage of development. You can check out leaked specifications, features, images, and other details related to Nokia 10 PureView on this page. Read our complete Nokia 10 PureView coverage by clicking here.
