In this video hands-on of Nokia 1 we have tested the display and audio output quality of Nokia 1 continuing with our detailed Nokia 1 hands-on coverage. Nokia 1 comes with a 4.5” IPS display with FWVGA resolution.
For testing Nokia 1 display and audio output we have streamed video and zoomed in to see the quality of the display. You can watch the video for more but here are our observations.
- Nokia 1 display is bright and ideal brightness level is around 50-60% in most of the cases. Adaptive brightness needs more calibration.
- Outdoor readability is good for its price range and perhaps one of the best when compared to other budget smartphones
- It has acceptable color interpretation and color contrast even though it is an LCD display.
- Viewing angles are good and one of the best that you will see on any of the entry-level displays out there
- Video streaming seems enjoyable on Nokia 1 display due to good color reproduction and loud audio
- Nokia 1 audio output is both loud and rich in quality. Even at the maximum sound level, there are no distortions. The audio quality while streaming videos or playing games is satisfactory
