A new Nokia smartphone with as many as six variants TA-1418, TA-1404, TA-1412, TA-1415, TA-1405 and TA-1401 have appeared at FCC. The FCC certifications for two of its variants TA-1404 and TA-1412 reveal important information about its design, camera and specifications.
Coming to the design first, one will clearly notice the new camera module on the back. This is similar to one of the Nokia smartphone’s camera module leaked earlier as Nokia N1530DL. Since the variant naming Nokia N1530DL makes it a US-exclusive smartphone, it may be another variant of TA-1418, TA-1404, TA-1412, TA-1415, TA-1405 and TA-1401.
Now, coming to other important tidbits revealed by FCC certification of TA-1404 and TA-1412, the camera module may have a 50 MP main camera. Other two cameras will be of 2MP each in this triple-camera module. The front camera will be a 8MP unit.
TA-1404 will be the Dual-SIM version and will come in 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage option. TA-1412 will be the Single-SIM version and will come in 3GB RAM + 64GB, 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage options.
The battery capacity is revealed to 4900 mAH. The battery model is WT341 for the new Nokia smartphone.
It is quite clear by the existence of six variants that we are looking at a global Nokia smartphone. The certification also reveals that this smartphone will be powered by a Unisoc processor that has been used so far in only C-series of Nokia smartphones. So, either Nokia C-series is getting its most premium member higher than Nokia C30 in lineup or Nokia G-series a new family of processors.
The Unisoc T610 processor that powers Nokia T20 has been used in Realme C25Y that comes with 50MP triple-camera setup. So, probably this smartphone will feature same processor, given how Nokia Mobile uses same processor in multiple devices.
