imagesCAWQM6C1Nokia smartphone sales is seeing rebound in Middle East as well. According to latest IDC report, the Nokia smartphone market share has grown back into double digits increasing from 9.7% in Q1 2013 to 11.8% in Q2 2013. Yet again low-end Lumias are responsible for this growth. Though when it comes to overall phones sales, Nokia remains the brand leader for the overall Middle East mobile phone market, with 45.2% share of the market’s volume. This Brand loyalty is what Microsoft may have targeted while buying even the featurephone business with Nokia brand name.

It also seems that Windows Phone is now finally outselling iPhones in Middle east market as well.
