Microsoft has released a security advisory regarding an Internet explorer vulnerability. The vulnerability is a remote code execution vulnerability and it affects Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, Internet Explorer 9, Internet Explorer 10, and Internet Explorer 11. While Windows Phone doesn’t fall on the list of affected operating systems provided by Microsoft in the advisory, but users may exercise caution by choosing appropriate security settings and by not clicking on a suspected link.
