If you remember when Microsoft Business Apps were made available to all devices excluding N8,E6 and 500, it was mentioned that these will come later to the aforesaid devices and that huge size of update (50+) MB is an issue as the apps will install to C drive of the devices.
Good news is that Microsoft Apps are now available for N8 via Nokia Suite and you need to have minimum 45 MB free space on you C drive for installing these apps. Also seeing the version number (Version 2.01) of Apps, it seems to be the same update which was made available to 701 one or two days back. May be Nokia has managed to reduce the overall size requirement of the Microsoft Business Apps. The description of the update gives an idea that following apps are included in this update,
Lync
Power point broadcast
One note
Microsoft office mobile
This is great as for other devices Lync,Power point and One note came in the first update and Microsoft office mobile was in second update. So seems, Nokia was working on reducing the size requirement and now finally could fit all of the Apps in one update with the required disk space now less than 50 MB for all the apps!!
I am still in the process of installing it on my N8. If you have E6 and 500 then you can check whether the update is available for you devices via Nokia Suite and do let us know in that case.
