Is it possible to confirm if there actually is support for fm radio in WP 8.1 ?

    • It was recently added. For sure it is staying now. Why remove it? Let individual OEMs decide whether to enable it or not 🙂

So can you tell as far as you know,
if the fm radio application has been improved in comparison to the way it works in WP8.0 gdr2/3 ?
I mean the current fm radio app is too simple, you cannot manage the stored stations, their names, their order etc.
Did they bother to improve it?
        Is it a standalone application?

And sorry to ask again, what do you mean when saying ‘Let individual OEMs decide whether to enable it or not’ ?
Will it be possible to see some models already launched and equipped with fm radio chipset to deactivate it , if a specific OEM or a carrier decides to do so?…
Let’s say in a similar way i.e. they did with the ‘Data sense’ app?

Hey you’re right, the radio should be a separate app, and improved like crazy.
