i am in india, but i am not getting the update on my 625

  • My Lumia 925 had WP8.1 for developers. Last night it got the CYAN update. Installed it. The phone shows it has the Cyan update under the Extras+info menu. But I do not see any changes in the phone, except 2 new apps were installed (a fitness and travel apps). I’ve read the Cyan should bring brightness slider and USB menu, nothing. I had brightness slider earlier too if I’d use non-automatic brightness settings, but I use automatic. The only weird thing that I notice are small blinking arrows on the gsm bars and wifi icon. What does these mean, I don’t know. I may only assume they show if the gsm or the wifi is being used by the phone, but why I need this information?

If you know what changes I should see after installing the Cyan update, then please leave a reply. (I already had wp8.1 so additional tile column and notification bars and other such features don’t count).

brightness slider should be in display settings. USB settings look like a surprise miss though

      • No brightness sliders in the display settings. There are only Sunlight readability, Reduce scr.brightness when running on low battery and color temperature and saturation settings.
Under Brightness settings, there is automatically adjust on/off button and it it’s turned off then I can manually choose Low, High or Medium setting. No slider.

May be it needs a display app update from Microsoft.

I can confirm the update came to Lumia 925 in Poland.

I don’t know if it was today, but I got it today.
