#Lumia625 shipments helped Compal revenue growth by 31% in July. Shipments expected to expand significantly in Q3.

According to “Digitimes” Lumia 625 shipments have already helped Compal in ramping up its sales and revenue in July. It has reported 31% growth in revenue in July.

Compal’s July revenues reached NT$2.17 billion (US$72.57 million), up 31% sequentially but down 4% on year. Shipments of Nokia’s Lumia 625 smartphones helped ramp up Compal’s sales in July, indicated the sources.

But it seems the Lumia 625 shipments are expected to expand significantly in August and September virtually indicating profitability for OEM Compal. Earlier it was reported that Compal had received an order of 3 million units for Lumia 625 and seems the shipment has already begun.
