For enabling your Lumia to capture Living images, you need to:

Open the Nokia Camera—–>Go to Settings———>Put Living images capture set as on. You can also enable play Living images on, so that when you go to Gallery from Nokia Camera, these automatically play for you.

Now, when you have captured Living images, here is what you need to know,

1) In your photo gallery, you will see only the image, but when you go to gallery from Nokia Camera, you see Living images play.

2) When you sync to PC using “Windows Phone app for desktop”, you just get the captured image, but you can access the Living images file by browsing the files.

How to save the Living images as 720p videos on your Phone or PC:

Install “Files”, the official Windows Phone File manager on your phone.

After installation, launch the Files app, go to Pictures——->Camera Roll and you can see three files for every captured Living image.

Now, rename this file as .mp4 by deleting .thm and you have a 720p video file of your Living image.
