Latest “Canaccord Genuity” report reveals that Lumia 920 has been the 3rd best-selling smartphone at AT&T for last 4 months including February. Better news is that Nokia has also made its way to the 3rd position in top smartphone vendors. Yup, according to the report for last 4 months, Nokia has been beating likes of HTC and LG in smartphone sales in US market.
This is commendable performance, as Nokia has Flagship Lumia 920 at only one carrier AT&T. But, it is not only the contribution of Lumia 920 alone, but if the best-selling performances are any indication Verizon exclusive Lumia 822 has also been a major contributor to sales number for Nokia. For that reason even Lumia 810 has been the best seller phone at T-Mobile whenever T-Mobile has priced it free like Verizon, otherwise price of $149 has been the reason behind Lumia 810 finishing last amongst Lumia 820 variants in USA.
Like everyone else, we are also hoping the flagships Lumia 928 and Lumia 9XX (RM-893) land at Verizon and T-mobile soon. The real fight to top begins only then for Nokia!!
