Lumia 1525, Nokia by Microsoft branding hoaxes, clarifies Evan Blass aka Evleaks

Evan Blass, better known to the world as his notorious alias Evleaks, has revealed today that some of his recent leaks about Nokia, Microsoft and Lumia came from a shady source and should be disregarded.

One of the hoaxes had claimed Lumia 1525 as the upcoming Lumia 1520 variant with upgraded Snapdragon 801 processor. For many, this was the the last hope for a Lumia Flagship this fall, after McLaren was cancelled by Microsoft.

Nokia by Microsoft branding was though much more doubtful and our sources already told us otherwise, so we never took that seriously.
