Google has now silently started rolling out a new update to the Google Phone app on Android platform. The update rollout is gradual and will soon be available to your device.
The new update is currently being rolled out to users with Android Oreo 8.1 installed onto their devices. We expect the update to be soon available for general users with older version of Android. The app version has been updated to v15 from v14.
Talking about the changes that come with this build, it brings assistive calling for international travelers. This feature helps international travelers dial numbers easily when they are in roaming. There is another change that was discovered in this version of Google Phone and that is White background od navigation bar. One other upcoming change to the Google Phone app is pre-call support for dual SIM phones.
