Latest Kantar Worldpanel’s report for three months ending June 2014 shows a bit of comeback for Windows Phone in its relatively stronger Europe market. After losing market share for consecutive months, it is on the way up and holds a 8.8% market share in EU5 countries. This is 1.9% up YoY and is up on a monthly basis too.
In other markets, the situation looks similar to what we have seen in last months. US market share remains around 4%, Australia at 5% and China at just 0.9%.
Seems, recent Lumia 630 launch has helped matters in Europe and it should get really better with Lumia 530 launch, as we expect it to repeat Lumia 520 success.
