HMD has now made insurance (protection) plans and extended warranty plan available in India. The two protection plans and extended warranty plans are being offered by Servify and authorized by HMD.
Protection plans include accident and liquid damage protection plan and screen protection plan. Extended warranty plan offers extension of standard manufacturer’s warranty when it expires.

Consumers who purchase Nokia smartphones can choose from three types of insurance plans with 12-month cover provided by Servify viz. (i) Nokia phones insurance plan with accident and liquid damage protection plan; (ii) Nokia phones screen protection plan – both plans are available for purchase within 15-days of Nokia smartphone purchase date; and (iii) extended warranty, available for purchase 365-days from the smartphone purchase date.
